Pastor Jason Castleberry and his wife Christy joins us from Texas where Jason was the Associate Pastor of First Baptist Church, Fate, Tx for three years.

Prior to that Jason spent 8 1/2 years in the Army(1996-2005) where he had two MOS's; Infantry and UAV Operator. During his military service he deployed to Haiti, Korea and a combat tour in Iraq (2003).

​

After leaving the military Jason was involved in numerous veteran Non-Profit organizations. In 2019 he received the Jockey Texas True Hero Award for his work in serving the needs of veterans in his community. 

​

God radically changed his life in 2018, since then he has fully dedicated his life to serving the Lord. He has taught pastors and ministries leaders in Pakistan and Uganda as a professor at Hunook Bible College International. He served as guest chaplain at a Women's shelter helping women who have been through substance abuse, spousal abuse and drug abuse.

Jason has over 100 credit hours through multiple universities with the military and a Certificate in Christian Apologetics through Biola University.

He and his wife Christy have been married over 25 years. Christy has served along side him. Christy has led various non-profits and has a heart of service. They have two grown children Justin and Savanna who live in Texas. They are excited to serve our church and the local community of Plevna and Baker.
